Photography has been in my blood for years and ever since graduating with a bachlors degree in photography I have made the conscious decision to fully envelope myself in the world of photography from both behind the camera as well as representing hundreds of amazing photographers through a few specialized boutique stock agencies over the last 12 years.

Currently I am working as the Director of Photography for Aurora Photos in Portland, Maine. I thrive on the creative process of communicating and inspiring other creative people to produce unique visuals that compete with the best photography out there. I edit thousands upon thousands of images weekly and drive the visual direction of the ever expanding commercial archive at Aurora Photos.This level of visual stimulation keeps me insprired to seek out my own unique style of photography and design.

My freelance business of photography and graphic design has been a constant ever since we shuffled back to Maine from the utopia lifestlye of Boulder, Colorado. With an exciting full time career it certainly can be challenging to find the time and stay motivated to push myself to create new work outside the normal day to day of office life. But with an intentionally small group of regular long term clients over the years I have been able to make the freelance component of my professional life work surprisingly well. More often these days, I find myself conceptualizing self assigned photography shoots and push hard to create something interesting and fresh. With the crazyiness of life as a parent of two little girls, a busy full time gig that continues to inspire and everything else the comes swirling around my life, I find myself reaching deep on a regular basis to keep the creative mojo alive.
